Tech Tip Tuesday #3

Today's Tip:
Start small! 🐢 Choose 1 new tool to try or 1 area to focus on incorporating technology more efficiently. Or choose 1 tool/area you are already using and think of 1 new way to use it in the classroom. Don't reinvent the wheel, especially during Homecoming Week!

Check out this super cool infographic from https://elearninginfographics.com/integrate-technology-class/ for ideas!

Which "easy way" will you try?

Tech Tip Tuesday #2

Today's Tip:
The start of the school year is the perfect time to take care of some Google Housekeeping. Below are some items that I like to update every now and then, click the links for full tutorials from the Google Help Center.

🧹 Update your Gmail Signature. While in Gmail, click the settings cog at the top right. Click "See all settings" and scroll down to Signature. Check to make sure your phone number matches our new system! While in settings, you can also update your default text style, toggle smart compose and autocorrect on or off, and more.

🧹 Update your Google Account picture and name. At https://myaccount.google.com, click on "Personal info" in the menu on the left side. Then update your picture with a more recent selfie or a fun picture (subject-specific, cartoon character, pet, etc.). Remember parents, students, and whoever you email will see this photo as your profile picture, so choose wisely!

🧹 Clear your cache. Make this a regular habit and your computer will thank you!

What "housekeeping" tasks do you complete at the beginning of the school year?
