Tech Tip Tuesday #34

Did you know... you can comment, make suggestions, and view revisions in Google Docs?

This is great for reviewing student work as a teacher, or having students do peer reviews of each other's work.

How to...
- Comment
Highlight text and click the comment button, it looks like a speech bubble. Or highlight text and use the keyboard shortcut Crtl + Alt + M.
- Make Suggestions
Change the mode in the upper right from editing to suggesting.
Any changes made will show up in green to be accepted or rejected.
- View revisions
Go to File, then Version history, and choose See version history.
Or use the keyboard shortcut Crtl + Alt +Shift + H.

Need more?
I found a good YouTube video on Google Docs Comments, Suggestions, and Revisions. Please note that the menu has changed to view the revision history.

How have you used comments, suggestions, and revision history in the classroom?
