Tech Tip Tuesday #5









Now that we're well into the school year (it's the fourth week, next week is mid-term!), it's time to check your "members" in your Schoology courses and make sure the list still matches your Synergy course roster. 

First, log in to Synergy and view your class lists. Want to print rosters? Instructions can be found on the Synergy Cheat SheetsSecond, log in to Schoology and view the "members" list for each of your courses. "Enroll" or "Unenroll" students as needed. Instructions are below or on the Schoology Cheat Sheets. [P.S. We do have some additional monitors available. If you would like a dual-screen set up (like I have in my classroom), please let Bill or myself know and we can try to get you set up!]

How to Enroll a Student in Schoology

  1. While in a Schoology course, click Members from the menu on the left.
  2. IF you have more than one linked section, you can toggle between sections at the top.
  3. Click the Add Members button.
  4. In the pop-up window, type the student’s name in the search bar.
  5. Click the student you wish to enroll, their box will change to green and there will be a check mark after their name.
  6. Click the Add Members button.  

How to Unenroll a Student in Schoology

  1. While in a Schoology course, click Members from the menu on the left.
  2. IF you have more than one linked section, you can toggle between sections at the top.
  3. Click the Settings icon to the right of the student you will to unenroll.
  4. Click Unenroll.
  5. In the pop-up window, click Confirm.

- To add a word to your Chrome dictionary, right click the word and click Add to dictionary.
