For this week's Tech Tip Tuesday, I have a couple more extensions for managing tabs in Chrome.
Some staff have seen this in PLC, this is the extension I used to split my screen when submitting grades. I like this extension because there are more options and you can create custom layouts.
This is a basic split screen extension that is really easy to use. If you are just getting started with extensions, I highly recommend this one.
Use this extension to "glue" your tabs back together after using Tab Resize or Tab Scissors to split them. This is another basic extension that I love.
ICYMI: Back up, what's an extension?
According to the Chrome page, "Extensions are small software programs that can modify and enhance the functionality of the Chrome browser."
To install extensions: While in Chrome, go to the Chrome Web Store, find an extension, and click on the "+ Add to Chrome button." Just like everything on the Internet today, please use caution when installing extensions.
What are your favorite extensions?
Please keep sending your suggestions my way! There are sooo many great extensions out there.
