Tech Tip Tuesday #26

Today's Tip:
Change the size of Google Docs, Slides, and Drawings to meet your needs.

Last week's tech tip highlighted Google Drawings as one of my favorite tools. I use Drawings and Slides for posters, invitations, infographics, badges, and so much more. In order to make so much awesomeness, you need to change the size of your Drawing or Slide.

Change the "Page" Size:
1. Open a Doc, Slide, or Drawing project.
2. Click File and select Page Setup.
3. In the drop-down box, select Custom.
4. Choose your dimensions. For a one-page poster, I use 8.5 x 10 inches. For an Instagram post, use 1080 x 1080 pixels (according to Instagram Image Size).

When I'm creating a new project, I will just about always run a quick Google search for the dimensions. A search for "Dimensions for a Facebook post" tells me to use 1,200 x 630 pixels.

What will you create?
