Tech Tip Tuesday #27

Today's Tip:
Use Chrome Extensions, and your students can too!

Five Extensions for You and Your Students:
A tool that allows you to select color values from webpages and more. I use this all the time when I am creating, I like to match the font and shape colors to images. If you create a lot of flyers or posts, check this tool out. If your students create a lot of presentations or infographics, have them check this tool out.

Add Persistent Sticky Notes anywhere on any web page, they will reappear when you re-open the page. This would be great for students completing research.

An easy to use and customizable menu for your favorite Google Services. If you can never find what you are looking for in the "waffle," this is for you.

Replace the new tab page with a personal dashboard featuring to-do, weather, and inspiration. This is a fun tool for staying focused and motivated.

Use Bitmoji in Gmail, Google Slides, Schoology, and more! With my love for Bitmojis, I use this extension all the time and cannot believe I haven't shared it already. Just a word of caution: Some of the Bitmojis are definitely not school appropriate. So you may want to use this extension when students aren't looking over your shoulder and probably don't want to recommend this extension to students.
