"Hidden" Gems in Schoology View course as a student or a parent.While in the course, click on Course Options and select View Course As. Then select a member or a parent. This is helpful if you have folders/materials unpublished and want to see how the materials page looks for others.
View grades as a student or a parent.While in the grade book, click on the bar graph after a student's name to view their grades. When students view grades in Schoology, they see a lot of information and it can be confusing and/or overwhelming. This view might help you in choosing categories for your materials and having discussions with your students regarding their grades.
Use assignment options.At the bottom of an assignment, there are "hidden" options to Individually Assign, Lock, Enable Submissions, Publish, Show Grade Statistics, Enable Comments, and Copy to Another Course.
