Tech Tip Tuesday #20

Today’s Tip:

Add a watermark in Google Docs to mark a document as a “Draft” or “Confidential.”

This is an updated feature! This fall Google rolled out image watermarks and recently added text watermarks. Find more new features at Google Workspace Updates.

How to Add a Watermark

While in Google Docs, click on Insert and select Watermark.

You have two options Image or Text. The Image option would be great for the East Central logo or a clipart icon. The Text option would be great for marking a document as a “Draft” or “Confidential.”

To learn more about this feature, check out Create or import text watermarks in Google Docs or Add image watermarks in Google Docs.
